Most plastic film producers subject their films to a plasma surface treatment immediately after production. However, as the treatment effect decreases over time, the surface energy of the film often becomes insufficient for optimal results by the time the film reaches the moment of conversion. In these instances, converters apply what is known as a refresher corona treatment to the material. This treatment not only enhances surface energy and increases wettability but also enables the converter to achieve the best possible results.
