CLN - Corona for narrow web applications
The unrivaled CLN corona treatment station series is especially designed for applications with narrow webs. The CLN series shows our attention to detail which characterizes the entire range of SOFTAL treatment stations. Following the idea of "plug & play", this compact corona station has a cantilever design which allows instant installation or retrofit at any label press and narrow web system or any other web processing system. The CLN is a completely redesigned and optimized version of the proven CLE system. A robust design and corrosion resistant materials create a product that is both durable, but thanks to a new, removable ceramic electrode module, it is even easier to service than its predecessors.
In combination with the touch screen operated 7015 corona generator and an ozone extraction unit, this corona treatment station is designed to functionalize web material surfaces for improved adhesion of printing inks, lacquers, adhesives and other coatings for labels and other applications. Standard widths are available off the shelf.
