CMI corona treatment station
The unrivaled CMI corona treatment station series was designed for blown film extrusion and flexo print. The CMB series shows our attention to detail which characterizes the entire range of SOFTAL treatment stations. This open-designed corona station is a compact system for working widths of up to 4 meters which can be easily integrated into any processing line. The CMI is a redesigned and optimized version of the proven CMB system. A robust design and corrosion resistant materials create a product that has a long life time in aggressive atmospheres and is also easy to service.
Depending on the application, the CMI corona treatment station is available in combination with the entire range of patented SOFTAL stainless steel blade, segment or ceramic electrodes as well as conditioning rolls and coatings to functionalize web material surfaces for improved adhesion of printing inks, lacquers, adhesives and various other coatings.
The CMI corona stations are designed to be compatible with state-of-the-art generators, transformers and ozone extractions and bring together the results of extensive R & D and the highest manufacturing standards.
